Terms and Conditions
1. GENERAL TERMS By placing an order through www.marblecenter.com.tr, the Buyer accepts the Distance Sales Agreement. Due to the nature of natural stone products (slabs, tiles, sinks, and custom designs), all transactions are governed by the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and international trade standards. 2. DELIVERY AND INSPECTION (CRITICAL FOR MARBLE) Inspection Obligation: Since marble is a heavy and fragile material, the Buyer must inspect the products at the time of delivery. Damage Protocol: If there is any visible damage, breakage, or cracks on the pallets/products, the Buyer must refuse the delivery and have the courier/driver sign a "Damage Assessment Report" (Tutanak). Assumption of Safety: Products received without a signed report are assumed to be delivered in perfect condition. 3. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY RULE) The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of delivery for standard stock items (standard sized tiles or accessories), without providing a reason. Condition for Return: Products must be returned in their original packaging, secured on their original pallets, and must not have been installed, cut, or modified in any way. 4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS Standard Returns: In cases where the Right of Withdrawal is exercised for non-defective goods, all return shipping costs, customs duties, and logistics expenses are borne by the Buyer. * Defective Products: If the product is proven to be defective or incorrect, return costs are covered by the Seller. 5. NON-RETURNABLE & CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS In accordance with international e-commerce regulations, the right of withdrawal CANNOT be exercised for: Custom-Cut Products: Any marble products that have been cut, sized, or finished (polished, honed, etc.) specifically to the Buyer's dimensions or project requirements. Natural Stone Variations: Marble is a product of nature. Variations in color, veining, and texture are inherent characteristics of the stone and are not considered defects. Returns based on these natural aesthetic differences are not accepted. 6. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled before they are processed for shipment or custom cutting. Refund Period: Once a return is approved, refunds are processed within 14 business days. Payment Method: Refunds are issued via the original payment method (Credit Card or Bank Transfer/SWIFT). Depending on bank procedures, credit card refunds may take 2-3 weeks to reflect in your account. 7. FORCE MAJEURE The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, maritime transport delays, or customs inspections). The Seller will notify the Buyer in such cases.
